Welcome to Ixchel Hawaii!  We are pleased to announce our Retreat Center located in the Enchanted Fern Forest on the Hilo Side of Hawai'i.  We are on 3 acres of rain forest and cleared land.  Our grounds include a fully stocked Yoga Studio attached to the Candlelight Cottage as well as the two story Jungalow with covered Lanai and fully equipped kitchen.  Granite counter tops complete the beauty of your surroundings. 

Ixchel Hawaii retreats offer 4 day retreats, 6 days retreats as well as 11 day retreats.  During your retreat we offer a variety of yoga classes from private instruction to group sessions.  Our yoga studio is large and screened in for your comfort.  Throughout your retreat we will be offering optional activities such as viewing the steam vents at Kilauea Volcano and possible Lava Viewing.  The Lava Tunnel walk, viewing the sea turtles at famous Punalu'u, black sands beach, as well as Kapoho Tide Pools and on Sunday's, the Maku'u Farmers Market. 

Ixchel Hawaii offers yoga retreats for individuals and small groups.  We are also set up as a vacation rental and have a variety of opportunities for you to enjoy the beauty and splendor that is the Island of Hawai'i.  We can help you plan your group retreat or vacation to include yoga, massage, and adventures around the island.

Retreat Coordinator and Yoga Teacher, Athena Engelman, will help you plan your ultimate Hawaii vacation.  Athena has been facilitating and organizing group yoga retreats since 2006 twice a year in California as well as Internationally.  "I am so excited to be able to flex my creative muscles and be a part of something quite special." -Athena

Rachelle Castillo, Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher and Owner of Ixchel Hawaii, brings her Awareness Therapy and organic gardening to the Center.  "What I want to share is that is it more than taking care of our bodies; it is about incorporating the whole.  We are not separate but connected." -Rachelle
